What classes do you offer?
We offer a wide variety of classes suitable for every fitness level. Classes include Schwinn indoor cycling, TRX Suspension Training, Pilates, Barre, Yoga, Mindful Movement, circuit, aerobic, strength and conditioning classes. We’re a physiotherapy-focused centre, which means there’s nothing dangerous going on in the classes. Our physiotherapy team regularly screens class content and works with our instructors to make sure every exercises is safe, and that each class provides a balanced program with adaptations available if you have an injury.
What’s the best class for me?
It all depends on where you’re at with your fitness level and possible rehabilitation stage. To help determine the best classes for you, we provide a free, 15-minute one-on-one consultation where we create a customized plan of action. We want to make sure you are starting at the right level and build up from there.
What if I don’t want to take a fitness class. Can I just workout on my own?
The Fitness Studio is centered on classes and personal training sessions only. There is no option to workout on your own.
Why is working in a physiotherapy-centered facility so important?
As experts in movement and exercise, physiotherapists are the ideal professionals to assess, prescribe, promote, guide, and manage all areas of physical activity. Exercise is an essential component of your overall health and wellness and our classes have been developed to help you achieve your goals in a safe, effective and fun environment. Our dedicated instructors (many of whom are healthcare professionals) will help you improve your strength, power, endurance, flexibility and balance, while achieving your restoration and relaxation goals. The right exercises will improve your patho-physiology, physical impairments, activity limitations and participation restrictions in daily and sporting activities. Regular participation in classes will also introduce you to some fantastic, like-minded people and enable you to enjoy the supportive Fitness Studio community.
